Application Summary

When processing the C&D waste, the customer was keen to mainly produce a Type 1 Sub-base (0-40mm) material but also have the ability to produce a 0-100mm crusher run product. At this site in Northumbria, a Premiertrak 400X crushed construction and demolition waste. Both of these products are being transported away for a road production project in Northumberland.

Product 1: 0-100mm product

Running 7 hours per day
Set at 65mm CSS
Production: 180 tonnes per hour
Fuel Consumption: Approx 26 Litres/hour

Tonnes crushed per litre: 6.9 tonnes/litre 0-100mm crusher run

To produce a 0-100mm product the customer set the jaw at a 65mm CSS. He removed the top deck from the post screen allowing all 0-100mm material to flow onto the product conveyor and be stockpiled.

Product 2: 0-40mm Type 1 Sub-base product

Running 7 hours per day
Set at 50mm CSS
Production: 120 tonnes per hour 0-40mm
Production: 30 tonnes per hour +40mm
Fuel Consumption: Approx 29 Litres/hour

Tonnes crushed per litre: 4.1 tonnes/litre of 0-40mm Type 1 Sub-base
