Top Powerscreen dealers awarded at 50th

In 2016 Powerscreen, one of the world’s leading providers of mobile crushing and screening equipment, marks half a century of serving the crushing and screening industry around the world. Established in 1966, Powerscreen has achieved its five-decade legacy through industry leadership, customer input and innovation. As well as celebrating this milestone achievement, the company presented awards to their distributors from around the world.

Powerscreen employs a dynamic balanced scorecard approach to monitoring dealer performance regularly throughout the year.  The scorecard rewards distributors for superior achievement across a range of business disciplines including: providing excellent customer support, achieving machine and parts sales targets, financial management and commitment to the Powerscreen brand.

Congratulations to Voltas Ltd (a TATA Enterprise) who were awarded with the award of Powerscreen Regional Distributor of the Year in India for 2015. In 2001, Powerscreen appointed Voltas as its first distributor in India. Voltas sold the first track plant in September 2001 and since then, has helped Powerscreen gain the largest market share of mobile crushing and screening equipment in India.

Mr Pradeep Bakshi, President of Voltas Limited said; “We are proud to be associated with the Powerscreen brand for the last fifteen years and it has been a wonderful journey as a partner.  Voltas introduced Powerscreen track mobile crushing and screening plants way back in 2001, in various applications including iron ore, dolomite, bauxite and aggregate rock in the Indian market.  We have sold more than 850 pieces of Powerscreen equipment to date and have a market share of over 60% in this segment. Repeat orders from our customer are a testament of the excellent aftermarket support provided by Voltas. Receiving this award at the Powerscreen 50th Anniversary enforces our commitment to achieve more heights in this business.”
