Riwald Recycling adds another Powerscreen

Van der spek Vianen has supplied Riwald Recycling with a second Powerscreen machine. Riwald Recycling had previously invested in a Powerscreen Warrior 800, supplied by Van der spek Vianen and have now taken delivery of a Warrior 1800 at their new site in Beverwijk.

Riwald Recycling is a big player in the field of metal recycling in the Netherlands, aiming for 100% recycling. They have invested in their future by deploying a unique high-tech granulator in combination with an associated scalper, allowing virtually all of the dirt to be upgraded for reuse. This makes Riwald Recycling one of the most innovative recycling companies within Europe, showing that metal recycling can be different: more sustainable, more professional and most importantly cleaner.

The new Powerscreen Warrior 1800 weighs in at 32 tonne and boasts a high capacity in recycling which is where Riwald comes into its own. It is going to be deployed for the separation of a diverse range of recycled products so that they can be put to better use in further processing with Riwald.  The Powerscreen Warrior 1800 is equipped with a double-deck screenbox with a length of 4880 mm and a width of 1500 mm, a big advantage of the screenbox on the Warriors is that both the upper and lower decks are of equal size. The screenbox also has a standard amplitude of 12 mm, making the screen very “aggressive” allowing very high spec products to be produced.  Furthermore the Warrior 1800 is equipped with a hydraulic lift screenbox, to allow media sections to be swapped out faster.  The walkways that are designed and mounted on either side of the screenbox provide a safe way to tour the machine while maintaining control and ability to change the media.
