Honouring Local Legends: 2024 Powerscreen Hall of Fame
Powerscreen® - leading providers of mobile crushing, screening and conveying equipment recently welcomed four local legends into the brand’s prestigious hall of fame.
Launched at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023, the Powerscreen Hall of Fame recognises individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development and success of the Powerscreen brand.
This year’s inductees are four former team members, who between them racked up a combined total of over 160 years’ service during their time with the company.
The 2024 Hall of Fame inductees are as follows:
Gerry Quinn
Gerry started his Powerscreen journey in the early 1980’s and what a journey it has been! From travelling the world to support Powerscreen dealers and customers, to becoming a familiar and friendly face on the Technical Helpdesk, Gerry’s contribution to the brand will be remembered for many years to come.
Terry McNally
Brackaville Native Terry McNally served the Powerscreen brand with distinction over a 40-year tenure. Despite finishing his Powerscreen journey back in 2012, Terry is held in high regard by his fellow team members (many of whom still work at the Dungannon factory) as well as the wider Powerscreen dealer network.
Gerry Kelly
Gerry Kelly retired in 2021 after a remarkable 41 years’ service with Powerscreen! In his role as Warranty Manager, Gerry supported Powerscreen dealers from all corners of the globe. He is often referred to as the ‘fairest’ and ‘most patient’ team member to ever represent the Powerscreen brand.
Dermot Corrigan
Dermot’s journey with the brand dates all the way back to 1968 when he joined Powerscreen (or Ulster Plant as it was known as at the time). Dermot was a key member of the MK1/PC100 restoration project, which was completed in the winter of 2005/2006 alongside fellow Powerscreen Hall of Famer, Pat Mallon. As well as reviving the pillar-stone of the modern day Powerscreen HQ, Dermot played a significant role in a number of new product launches and engineering projects.
Speaking at the Powerscreen Hall of Fame presentation in Dungannon - Sean Loughran, Powerscreen Business Line Director and General Manager said “To have four individuals, with a combined service of over 160 years with us here today is simply remarkable. You are an inspiration to future generations, and we thank you for your significant contribution to the brand.”
