H6203 delivered to Netherlands

Powerscreen dealer in Netherlands, Van der Spek Vianen B.V. has delivered the huge Powerscreen track mobile screen – H6203 – to their customer A. Jansen B.V. via its Hardenberg facility.

The H6203 horizontal screen is a beast with a 48-tonne base weight. Due to its three deck, 6.1m x 1.93m horizontal screenbox, the machine has a total screening area of over 35m2 which enables the machine to sift very high tonnages of fine fractions. Despite these impressive dimensions, the machine is still easily transported in one piece.

When the Van der Spek Vianen team presented the impressive details of the H6203, A. Jansen B.V. were convinced to add this Powerscreen giant to their fleet where large capacities of high quality screened material were essential.

The machine will be used to screen material which is sold as high-quality aggregates in asphalt, concrete and concrete products and used directly as raw materials in civil engineering works.

Customer Profile: A. Jansen B.V
The history of A. Jansen B.V. begins in 1971 when Toon Jansen decided to start his own business in Gerwen, Netherlands. With the purchase of a second-hand loader, the foundations had been laid for a healthy, fast-growing company.

Since the mid 1970’s A. Jansen B.V. has gone from strength to strength, taking steps to grow the business. Company activities have expanded to include among other things, recycling, demolition, Legioblocken® and more recently thermal cleaning. From their headquarters close to Eindhoven in southern Netherlands, A. Jansen B.V. developed a plan to expand their activities and branches throughout the Netherlands and opened new offices in Helmond, Son, Amsterdam and others. In the 1990’s Jansen achieved further growth outside the Dutch borders and opened their new headquarters in Son in 2007.

Powerscreen H6203, a very special screening machine
With the Powerscreen H6203, the three-part screen box is driven by three adjustable eccentric shafts. Because of this special drive, both stroke and angle can be adjusted to achieve the optimum setting for the material to be screened. Thanks to this fine tuning, the screen can be adjusted to sift very efficiently with large capacities.

The amplitude of the screenbox is adjustable between 13mm and 19mm, which means high aggression. As a result, the different fractions are separated cleanly.

With the ability to adjust the screenbox angle between 30° and 60°, users can determine how long the material remains on the screenbox. With a 30° screening angle, the product stays on the decks for longer, resulting in a better cleaning, while with a 60° angle the product moves faster resulting in greater capacities.

The versatility given by the adjustment possibilities mean that the H6203 mobile screen can be optimally adjusted for each required product. The material is moved forward through the screenbox without gravity causing it to slide and therefore a more pure end material is generated.

As with all Powerscreen Warrior and H-series machines, the discharge belts of the fine and middle fractions are also designed to drain the sieved fractions. The 900mm wide tracks have adjustable speed and the machine has a discharge height of more than four meters.

To be able to handle high capacities, the H6203 is equipped with an 8m³ hopper that can be filled by both a crane and a loading shovel. Feeding via a crusher or feeder / conveyor is also possible and to facilitate this, the rear wall of the hopper can be folded down.

A high energy and durable Tier IV final CAT C7.1 6-cylinder engine delivers 202HP. This engine meets all the latest emission requirements with which A. Jansen B.V. once again demonstrates that it is at the forefront when it comes to sustainable investment.
