Localised coverage is now provided by FIMSA in the north-eastern region and GIMTRAC® in the central and southern regions. Both distributors will provide new equipment purchases and local support for existing equipment (including servicing and spare parts). Customers’ needs will be met by a passionate team who have been factory trained by Powerscreen to provide the exceptional levels of customer support for which the Powerscreen distribution network is globally renowned. Gerald McCarthy, Americas Sales Manager for Powerscreen said: “We selected GIMTRAC® and FIMSA to represent Powerscreen in Mexico because of their vast local industry knowledge and commitment to customer support. With multiple branches across their territories, I’m confident that though both companies track mobile crushing and screening in Mexico will thrive, further bolstering an already strong Powerscreen presence in the region.”
ISO accredited, a wealth of knowledge earned from 45 years industry experience and with over 100 team members, FIMSA provides equipment and support services for discerning crushing, screening and materials handling customers across northern Mexico. The company offers high quality machinery supported by a dedicated engineering department which proposes robust and cost effective technical solutions, and by a well-trained and responsive customer support department. Speaking of the relationship Rogelio Gaitan, FIMSA Director, said “We have already developed a strong working relationship with Powerscreen, we look forward to dealing with the many customers in the region already operating Powerscreen machines. Our technical department can provide a wealth of information on crushing and screening equipment so we encourage anyone who would like advice in the Chihuahua, Durango, Zacatecas, Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon and Coahuila states to contact us.”
With a rapid and exponential growth since being founded in 2000, GIMTRAC® attributes its success to its dedicated team of experienced professionals, its customer support function available from 10 branches in 10 different states and solid financial backing. The company represents major brands across agriculture and construction equipment which complements its new Powerscreen crushing and screening range. According to Arturo Barreiro Vázquez, Director of Sales, “At GIMTRAC® we believe that the profitability of our customers is fundamental to our shared success, and as such our customers know that we are always available to help them do the very best deals possible. Together with Powerscreen we have the resources in place to ensure Mexican customers have the best possible experience and we are confident that we will deliver these successfully.”
