Powerscreen: Getting bigger and better

Visitors to the working demonstration will see the powerful new Powerscreen® Pegson XA750 jaw crusher feeding the new giant Powerscreen® Pegson 1500 Maxtrak cone crusher. Alongside the crushers in the working area will be the latest and largest addition to the Warrior screen range, the impressive Powerscreen® Warrior 2400. 

Further new product developments will be on display at the Powerscreen stand including: Powerscreen® Pegson XH320 and Powerscreen® Pegson XH500 impact crushers, Powerscreen® Warrior 800 screen and Powerscreen® Aggwash.  Established models including the Powerscreen® Pegson XA400S jaw crusher, Powerscreen® Pegson 1000 Maxtrak cone crusher and the Powerscreen® Chieftain 2100X screen will give visitors a fantastic overview of the comprehensive Powerscreen product portfolio.

Powerscreen® Pegson XA750

The Pegson XA750 jaw crusher is one of the most advanced and efficient tracked crushing plants on the market for large scale operators. The Pegson XA750 is capable of producing high volumes of excellently shaped product at up to 750 tph (827 US tph). Key features include an unrestricted feed opening which maintains high production capacities and prevents bridging, a hydraulic closed side setting adjustment system and a hydraulic draw back rod retention system. User benefits include hydraulically adjustable product conveyor for ease of transport and low running costs associated with the direct drive crusher system.

Powerscreen® Pegson 1500 Maxtrak

The Pegson 1500 Maxtrak, due to be launched in 2011 and previewed at Hillhead, will be one of the largest track mobile cone crushers on the market. Specifically developed for larger end users, the plant can accept an all-in feed from a primary crusher to produce up to 950 tph (1047 US tph) of aggregate. Utilising the Terex® Automax cone crusher technology, operators benefit from hydraulic overload protection, excellent product cubicity and a high reduction ratio.

Powerscreen® Pegson XH320

The Pegson XH320 is a mid-sized horizontal impact crusher designed to offer operators and contractors excellent reduction and high consistency of product shape for performance in quarry and recycling applications. With tracked mobility, the plant is capable of working in the most demanding environments and features a rapid set-up time, fuel efficient direct drive system and excellent output potential of up to 320 tph (352 US tph).

Powerscreen® Pegson XH500

The Pegson XH500 is the flagship horizontal shaft impactor. It is versatile, efficient and highly productive, offering excellent reduction and an output potential of up to 500 tph (550 US tph) in quarrying, recycling and demolition applications. It is ideally suited to contract crushing due to its high productivity and ease of set-up, operation and maintenance.

Powerscreen® Warrior 800

The Warrior 800 has been specifically designed for the small end user for whom versatility and transportability are of key importance. The machine is a multi-purpose heavy duty incline 2-deck screen, capable of stockpiling, 3 way splitting or scalping before and after crushing units. Its highly aggressive screen can accept bofor bars, finger screens, woven mesh and punch plate.

User benefits include a rapid set-up time and ease of operation aided by hydraulic folding tail and side conveyors, rigid feed hopper sides and two speed tracks. Simplified slide out tail conveyor facilities aid media access and screen media changes with an output potential of up to 280 tph (308 US tph).   

Powerscreen® Warrior 2400

Specially designed for large scale operators in the quarrying and mining sectors, the new Warrior 2400 is capable of handling larger feed sizes and output potentials of up to 800 tph (881 US tph). It features a heavy duty incline screen with a high amplitude triple shaft drive mechanism, lending it to screening, scalping, 2 or 3 way splitting and stockpiling materials like aggregates, topsoil, coal, construction, demolition waste and iron ore.

User benefits include a slide out tail conveyor facility to aid media access and a load sensing collection conveyor circuit to avoid blockages. The Warrior 2400 is the ultimate solution for large-scale end users who require a high performing versatile screener that remains easy to transport, set-up, operate and maintain. 

Powerscreen® Aggwash

Launching exclusively at Hillhead is the all new Powerscreen® Aggwash mobile wash plant which brings together for the first time rinsing, screening and scrubbing capabilities on a single transportable chassis. Specifically designed for the processing of C&D waste or virgin material, the Aggwash produces 3 grades of aggregates and 1 grade of sand at up to 60 tph (66 US tph). With its innovative mobile design coupled with versatility in operation, the Aggwash is the ideal addition to any small to medium sized quarry or contractors’ fleet.
