Guests welcomed to successful Chile events

Powerscreen held a very successful two-day regional distributor forum and customer open event in Santiago, Chile. Held in conjunction with local distributor Komatsu Chile, based in Santiago, the manufacturer used the event to showcase its robust, reliable and highly efficient crushing and screening models to the Latin American market. Attendees were attracted from across Chile and the wider continent including guests from Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico.

Speaking to the press at the event Dearbhaile Mulholland, Marketing Manager said, “We are very grateful to all attendees for spending time with us this week in Chile. This important event has allowed us to achieve our three key objectives:

1)  To spend time with our customers here and really thank them for their loyalty.

2) To promote our 2017 new machine launches including the Warrior 1200 screen and four new crushers; Premiertrak 400X, Metrotrak, Trakpactor 550 and 1400 Maxtrak.

3)  To better understand customer applications and requirements through our distributor forum and identify our regional “Strategy for Success”.

Many of our loyal customers already have Powerscreen equipment and the idea was to spend time with them and show them the new technologies featured on machines. International Sales Director for Powerscreen, Stephen McCartney indicated that the crushing and screening leader wants to further widen its reach in South America, “it’s fair to say there have been challenges in this region with recent economic instability. However we feel that Powerscreen is ahead of rivals thanks to several key distribution appointments made in the last 18 months combined with strengthening economies in many countries and stabilising political situations leading to significant infrastructure projects”.
